The Little Herbal Apothecary has been such an invaluable resource for me! Faith puts a lot of thought and effort into choosing the best quality products, and also considers the ethics and environmental impacts, so I always know that whatever I buy I can feel good about. And everybody there is so friendly and helpful too! My favorite thing about the apothecary is the classes. I first came into the apothecary not even knowing what an herb was, other than something you season food with. But I was immediately drawn in by the atmosphere, and wanted to learn more. I signed up for an essential oils class, and it was so informative and inspiring. There were people there from all different knowledge levels, and still everybody got a lot out of the class. After that I was hooked. I have taken so many more of the classes, and even participated in the Little Herbalist series. All of the classes and workshops I have attended have provided me with invaluable tools. Faith breaks things down so that even somebody brand new to the topics can follow along. I also love that a majority of the classes have a hands on component where you can make things to take home using the knowledge gained during class. We are so lucky that LHA is part of our community!

I wandered into the Little Herbal Apothecary many years ago. Since that time I have learned so many skills and expanded my knowledge of herbalism to such a large degree. This knowledge has integrated into the daily life of my family and myself. I am a fitness/nutrition professional and I apply what I have learned to clients and students as well. I first took a group of Balfour residents to a custom class led by Faith. I then started taking her course and events for the holidays and my adult daughters came too. My husband is the biggest fan of the knowledge learned from the Apothcary. Faith is knowledgeable, professional, has a personality and is patient. She has integrated creativity and new technology through the COVID times by offering Zoom classes and kit pick ups, which I think is great! I have gone from just making teas, to lotions, tinctures, powders etc. My entire family continues to benefit from the offerings. Thanks to Faith and her great team, we will continue to expand, learn and incorporate what they have to offer.

It has been a privilege for me to know Faith, proprietor of the “The Little Herbal Apothecary”, for these past five years. She has been a mentor and an inspiration to me since I began my foray into herbalism and aromatherapy. I have attended nearly all her classes and have worked with her one on one as well. I am inspired not only by her knowledge but by the way she crafts her products; everything organic or wildcrafted with careful thought and consideration going into all aspects of production. Her classes are no less than amazing. The material is always perfectly presented, (whether in person or virtual), the directions clear and precise, and the handouts are written in such a way that it is easy to replicate the recipe on your own. Faith’s teaching offers an excellent introduction into the world and the heart of herbalism and aromatherapy for the beginner and is the perfect review for the more advanced student. I will continue to study with her.

I consistently go back to Little Herbal's Workshop page time and time again because the classes are just so incredibly well-rounded and never leave me feeling at a loss or as if I didn't garner enough info to repeat the tutorials on my own. Faith is so thorough in all of her classes; from ingredients in the maker's kits, to the how-to instructions, to overhead video shots of her performing each step for more visual learners. A big part of the draw for classes that Faith organizes and teaches, is that they are always so inclusive - there is a community environment that encourages questions and conversation so that you never feel out of place or unsure about any of the procedures. I highly recommend any workshop at Little Herbal for both beginner and advanced herbalist practitioners!

Faith is an awesome instructor! She was my very first instructor on making body care products a few years ago. After that first class I was hooked! I love making body care products with Faith. She is such a great instructor, explains things so well, easy to understand and Faith is just fun!! One class with Faith and you will be hooked too!

I have been attending the workshops and classes at Little Herbal Apothecary for many years now. Faith and the other instructors are very knowledgeable and friendly. Not only have the workshops provided me and my daughter with fun bonding opportunities, but I have learned a tremendous amount of information and gathered a volume of recipes for helping me and my family stay healthy by boosting our immunity and reducing toxins in our environment. I now make the majority of our skincare, beauty, and house cleaning products from scratch. It’s good for us, good for the environment, and cost-effective. The Little Herbal Apothecary has been a source of health information and emotional support for me over the years, in addition to many wonderful handmade gifts for my friends and family. During the past 22 years in Colorado I have found Faith’s knowledge, support and approach to serving the community through classes, private appointments, and knowledge very valuable. I have incorporated many of Faith’s teachings into my families health and daily routines. She has always been available and nurturing with questions that I ask of her.
